Questions, answered plainly.

Are you lawyers?

No. CourtScope does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Reports describe what was observed; please consult a licensed attorney about what it means for you.

Is the report an official transcript?

No. It is a reviewed factual observation report, not a certified or official court transcript.

Which courts can you cover?

Accessible public proceedings within approved service areas. Requests outside confirmed areas go to a quote review rather than instant booking.

Can I book a closed hearing?

Sealed, closed or restricted proceedings cannot be observed without lawful access. Such requests receive a feasibility review and are often declined.

When is coverage confirmed?

Only after we review availability and court access, you accept a written scope and quote, and payment is verified. A requested date alone is not a confirmation.

What if the court changes the date?

Adjournments are handled under the cancellation and court-change policy accepted with your quote. We'll contact you to reschedule or apply the policy.

What if a hearing exceeds the booked time?

Overtime is only billed with your advance approval, in clearly defined increments. We never charge a saved card automatically.

When will my report arrive?

The delivery target is stated in your written scope. We don't publish a guaranteed turnaround until it is configured and agreed.

Is my request confidential?

Yes. We treat your identity, your request and your reports as confidential. They are used only to deliver your coverage, are never published or sold, and are visible only to you, the people you invite, and the CourtScope staff handling your request. Court proceedings themselves are public, and we may have to disclose information if the law requires it.

Who can access it?

Only the requesting client and team members you explicitly invite, through an authenticated portal.

How are factual corrections handled?

You can request a factual correction; it is reviewed and, if accepted, a new report version is issued with a visible history.

Can my team receive reports?

Yes — by explicit invitation. Access is never granted merely because emails share a domain.

Can I book ongoing monitoring?

Yes. Ongoing monitoring is quoted individually based on scope and cadence.
